Bank reconciliation
Reconcile directly from PDF statements
When all you have are the PDF statements the bank sends each month, there is nothing to import into the reconcile screen of your accounting software. Upload the PDF here: transactions are read, checked against the opening and closing balance, and matched against the ledger.
Step 1
Bank statement
PDF from online banking, a scan, or the bank's CSV or Excel export.
Step 2
Books
The bank account's register or ledger from QuickBooks, Xero or a spreadsheet, as CSV or Excel.
Read with a balance check
The statement's opening balance plus every transaction must equal its closing balance. If a line was misread, the check fails and the statement is marked, so the reconciliation does not rest on a misread number.
Scanned statements
Paper statements and scans are read with OCR (a free account is needed for scans). The same balance check runs on them.

Prices in USD are approximate. Checkout charges the exact amount in USD at Stripe’s exchange rate (a 2–4% conversion fee is included), or in euros if you prefer. No VAT or sales tax is added. Monthly, cancel any month. A statement is one uploaded statement file; matching it again or against a corrected ledger is not counted again.
Questions
- Which banks work?
- The reader uses the statement's own columns instead of a template per bank, so most statements that print dates, amounts and balances in a table work, from US, UK and European banks.
